Trax 2013 110V Outlet

Hi, I have a 2013 2LT, and when I got them, it already had a 110v outlet at the back of the center console, I am just wondering how many watts it can take. I was thinking if I can use a 750/1500W portable heater inside each morning just to preheat everything inside. Thanks.

The 2016 owners manual says "maximum limit of 150 watts" for the 110v outlet, so it won't be a good idea to plug in a heater.

I have my jump starter plugged into the outlet, just in case I get a request for a jump start.

About 2 weeks ago one of the people here left their lights on, the jump starter did its job.

Jump starting cars using cables can cost you, if you just happen to pop the alternator or some electronics in the car, your kindness cost you.

If you are going to use cables to help someone out shut your car off, use your battery only not your whole electrical system.
