2017 Foglights

I bought a set of after market foglights that said they were for 2015-2017 Trax They are too small to fit. Are the openings for the foglights different on the 2015/16 than the 2017 ?

2012 to 2016 are the same while 2017 is a brand new front clip.

This set comes with everything you need right down to the wires bolts and nuts for the 2017.

I would suggest returning the set of lights you bought then buying these, the set you bought only covers up to 2016.

There is another set available that is a bit cheaper but the cheaper set does not include everything needed for installation.

It showed 2 different listings one for the 15-16 then one for the 17, I never looked at the part numbers.

They are going to have many unhappy customers when they get their parts in the mail.

It may be the lights are exactly the same, with the only difference being the bezel.

That is a great possibility. If that's the case as well, the aftermarket selection would be well opened up?

I guess you will just have to wait, until a kit is ready or order the lights, then order the bezels separate at the dealer.

Its unlikely GM changed the light assemblies, they and other manufactures, are well known for using parts from year to year over the whole model line.

It costs them loads of money to redesign any part, if they can reuse the part over many different models for many years they will do it.
