Traxy,
It wouldn't have mattered if I had let it run for several minutes prior to driving. For me the "cloud" forms with in 20 to 30 seconds of starting the engine and proceeds to engulf my car and any near it. I do like your thoughts on the PVC valve, I was worried it was a head gasket or something similar as well. I had brought it in since it's under warranty, but because it was warmed up by the time I got there they couldn't find anything wrong.

Mine hasn't done it again since and it's been just as cold or colder, maybe sucking a little oil through the PCV lubricated what ever was stuck. Mine only smoked for about 20-30 seconds but man I couldn't see anything around the back, just a big blue cloud.

My 2018 Trax Premier turns the radio on automatically as soon as I start the engine. Is this how it normally works in the Trax? Iíve tried everything before shutting off my engine the night before, only to be blasted out of my skin the next morning anyway.
Shouldnít there be a setting somewhere to control this? Iím sure itís a great convenience for those who routinely turn on their radio as soon as they start their cars, but for those who rarely even use their radio, it can be an unwelcomed shock first thing in the morning.
My service dept is useless, as they shrugged this off as trivial. In fact, in light of some of the more major issues that Iím already having with this vehicle, this would be considered a minor quirk...although it IS annoying!
Anyone else have this happening?

There are settings in my 2016 but not sure you have the same radio. Your sales person should be able to help you with this. It is also in the owners manual.

Most the MyLink systems have a start up volume limit adjustment.

Today I received a notice from GM about a possible corrosion problem in the Rear differential clutch module. This only applies to AWD.
