2019 LT foglights ..

I'm in the process of "specing out" a 2019 and find that the LT is unavailable with foglights and/or the chrome applique on the rear decklid. Has anyone added these items to a newer model (2018-2019) ? Any major problems I should be aware of ?? Gotta get the order in soon.

Smile fog lights

I recently added frog lights on my 2018 Trax LS. I purchased a complete fog light kit from CarId.com. They work great. It comes with a switch but i chose to have them wired into the parking lights.

There are two different manufacturers listed .. Spec-D and Spyder. Do you recall which set you purchased ?

I've received the Spyder foglight kit … so … first step is to remove the dummy panels. I understand they can simply be "pried out" using a flat tool to snap the two original clips ??

Sorry just noticed the year, mine had 8 clips per blank panel on my 2016, 2017-up could be different. Most of them broke upon removal too. Didn't care, wasn't going to re-use them anyway.

Thanks for the photo … I'll try to supply one from the back of a 2019 version.
