yes, I replaced my pistons in car. You need to remove oil pan obviously and the "proper" way to remove the oil pan is remove the transfer case. But if you take off the crank pulley and grind the transmission mount a bit the pan will come out.

You replaced your pistons?? Gees. Hope it was for performance and not out of necessity! If it was a need, how many miles were on that 1.4? I have 132k on this one.
