I have been smelling gas inside of my vehicle for the last 4 days. I have an appt on Wednesday at a Chevy dealership. Mr Shelton stated it was safe to drive and I should wait awhile before bring it in. He thinks its going to correct itself. ???

Is smelling gas 4 days in a row normal? I am getting headaches from driving my vehicle.

If I over fill and splash out into the gas door area I get a smell on the way home from getting gas, but the next day I get nothing.

I think that there is a body vent just under the bumper on that side of the vehicle you should check to see if it is open.

It looks like this https://www.chevypartscentral.com/p...ml?partner=googlebase_adwords&kwd=&origin=pla

The vent could be stuck open, or you might have a loose clamp on the filler neck sloshing out some fuel.
