Hi everyone. I have a 2018 Chevy Trax which has 31,500 miles on it. I noticed that after the car has been sitting for a while (a few days or so) the brakes will squeak for about 1-2 minutes then the squeaking stops. I don't have problems braking, it's just the sound is a little aggravating. Is this normal? What can I do to stop the noise?

Normal with semi-metalic brake pads it will rust just sitting there. The grinding noise doesn't last once the rust is sanded off. Not much you can do.

Hi! Just bought a 2018 Chevy trax and noticed that the brake pedal was too high and the gas pedal didn’t have any rubber or grip on it. I’m wondering if this has happened to anyone and can the brake pedal be adjusted.
