Hey all

Bought the ls from a dealer 2 years ago.
Month ago notice the coolant ain't staying in the reservoir, disappears.
Leakage is 2 areas
On the water pump, plus staining the hoses
Drips at the front of the vehicle underneath; As in where the hoses are as well as
under the water pump
So, before I let someone put their paws on it, what is going on here?

I replaced the water pump on mine. The housing casting had cracked where the thermostat attaches. Then later it started leaking at one of the coolant line fittings at the turbo. I don't need to flush the coolant in this thing since it's always fresh. I bought all new coolant lines to replace them and before I had a chance to change them it stopped leaking again. So now I'm waiting for it to start leaking again.

Sounds like a water pump to me too, especially if you have staining on the hoses directly below it. The engine is sucking the reservoir dry and running it down the front of the engine, either from a crack or bad gasket.
