2019 Backwards Climate Control Damper

Got an odd one wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts or recommendations for repair. I have an issue where the damper control on the climate control is backwards. So if you have it on defrost, it blows out the forward facing vents, and if you have it on forward facing, it blows out the windshield vents. Wasn't sure if I took this apart if it'd be as simple as turning a gear around. I'm able to live with it so if it's an involved repair I might not bother but curious what the community thought.
