This is an informative thread regarding an ongoing issue since I purchased the car last year.

So, Shortly after I bought the car it was summer. I immediately noticed that the AC was horrible. I took forever to get cold and when it did I had to be speeding or it happened at night. So I took it in to the dealer ship several times. Then one day it just blew nothing but hot air. This was about a few months after I bought it. . This last time they finally discovered that the condenser was broken and leaking. So they replaced it and it was working again as good as it never did. It was still horrible. Now yesterday I took it to an AC specialist and they did a complete diagnosis and discovered it had some tall tail signs of a failing compressor. So it looks like these compressors like to fail. I am going to find out who makes them and see about an after market compressor. It seems that who ever the manufacture of these compressors have really poor quality assembly and product reliability. I am taking it to the dealer ship today with the analysis from the AC specialty shop. We shall see how the dealership handles this.

When you run the AC, make sure both the AC light and the Recycle lights are on, otherwise you'll burn up compressors faster than burning up the OEM Continental tires. Bought mine new in 2019, had to switch to AC a couple days ago and it was absolutely freezing in the car.
