Looks like the 22 has a spin on filter, has anyone done an oil change yet? Looks like the plastic pan has to come off ?

Ya, I can see the oil filter on the vehicle, thats Not the question, the question was, does the plastic pan have to come off?
we get 1 free oil change, so I’ll do the next.

No I know that I have the oil filter n Mobil 1 full synthetic ready. I'm in the same predicament you are in. About the plastic cover removal. Looks like it might need to be. Easier if on front jack stands. Remove the three rear pegs and kinda moved the front part out of the way.

i have. Q45, you gotta drop the splash pan, I don’t do Jack stands. I know of 2 people that died using them.

My bad. Is there a way you can fully remove the splash pan?

Usually only held in by push tabs.

I took two push tabs and a bolt out of the rear and cannot find where it detaches from the front of the car.
