I looked at it when I change the stereo in the car and decided against it. It requires cutting/shaving some of the inner brackets of the vehicle which will make re-installing the OEM unit impossible when we sell the car. There is another one that uses a rubber band and bridge USB cable. No way I was putting that in a new vehicle.
Instead. I bought an iGo bracket to install the tablet. Works great and I don't have to fight with it to bring it in the house and load it up or pull the memory cards out. Sometimes less is more. I went with a seven-inch unit complete with supplied bezel instead. Didn't have to cut up dash mounting brackets out of the car and its an hour job to return the whole thing to OEM, when we move the vehicle.
