Hello Friends, so in the 20 min it took to leave work and arrive home my 2018 Trax backup camera went from crisp to grainy. The only other time it "hiccupped" was about a month ago when the yellow grid vanished, but a simple shutdown and startup corrected it. Not so with this. I considered a fuse pull and plug but Baby It's Cold Outside and wanted to run it by all youse so I can cover all bases when I go troubleshooting out there. I leased it 3 months ago so I'm confident it's warranteed, but who really has time to schedule this if it's a simple fix? Any advice on self medicating lol?

Actually never mind. Whatever it was self corrected. My guess is that when the cam went grainy, it was in the 30's with slushy rain, snow, and high winds. I've read that backup cams in general perform poorly in these climes. Today was near 50, sunny, and atipically pleasant, and camera functioned normally. Go figure.
