Anyone else having an issue with the brake actuator making a clicking sound? Car started and in park, depress pedal and it makes a clicking sound near the pedal and over on the front passenger floorboard area.
I've got 2 Trax both 2019, both LT one red line edition. The red line edition does not make this sound. The dealer said it was normal but I beg to differ.
Any thoughts?
Thank-you!

Normal. When you press the brake pedal and the engine is running it activates the shifter unlock solenoid in the center console. You will also hear a click when you put your vehicle in park that's the solenoid unlocking the ignition so you can remove the key. Some solenoids are noisier than others depending on manufacturer tolerance but they all make some noise even your red line although it may have more inside noise insulation. I always here it in my Trax and never notice it in my Encore but I know the noise is there otherwise I wouldn't be able to pull into drive.
