May i ask where you got this information?

You're welcome. There may be a few corrupt pages in there but most of it is good.

Did all 4 brakes today i went and tested them on a quiet road 120kmh-0 in 3 Mississippi's without engine braking so i guess i didn't mess up horribly.

I had a minor setback when i overtorqued one of the guide pin bolts i managed to find a replacement despite the threading being an odd size. The original is m8x23.5mm but a narrow thread (i called the local GM dealer they didn't have it in stock or didn't want to sell them to me,) the one i found was m8x25mm i used a 1,5mm washer and medium threadlocker though i've lost faith in my torque wrench.

The replacement bolt is 8.8 grade steel i hope that's fine.

I know it was mostly the rear pads that were worn down to the indicator but for the price of the diy job i figured what the heck i'll do all 4 it's good practice. Next year i'll include rotors.
