Has anyone used the BringGo App yet? Just wondering if it is worth the $60 subscription...I'm currently using the $.99 30-day trial on my android. It seems to work ok but routes are different than Google Maps. Thanks!

I don't think it's garbage but it isn't the greatest. It is quite expensive after a while it quits working until you pay for the maps. I am sad that is the only solution GM has given for the Trax. I am working on getting an in dash nav system installed. I like the factory one except for no navigation. As far as different routes most of the time this happens buy a garmin and a tomtom gps and more than likely they will take you different ways lol.

I've not used it because I've not seen it available in the Blackberry/Amazon App Store. I've read other reviews that said it wasn't that great.

My question is though ... with OnStar why pay for another navigation system? The OnStar service was a major contributor to why I purchased a Chevy. I think $349.00 a year for Turn-By-Turn directions + all the other features is worth it.

I use it, but double check the route with Apple maps. It is very quirky. The graphics and turn by turn split screen Is nice, and is much cheaper than the 795.00 navigation in my wife's Ford Escape.
GM needs to fix bringgo or provide an upgrade to car play for the thousands of owners that have the current my link system

I was reading on another forum that a member called Chevrolet infotainment support and they said BringGo was discontinued. Not sure if that is true. However I understand why it was discontinued. I hope Chevrolet releases something to replace it. Has anyone else heard that BringGo was discontinued?

Garbage.. Don't waste your $$

I unfortunately pulled the trigger and paid the $80.00 for this app before really testing it. Thought I would 'get used to it' and learn to like it because I *REALLY WANTED* to view my map on my nice big in-dash screen. Nope. Utter crap. For fun, I put in a destination where I knew my route. It was routing me taking what would be the fasted route, but I purposely went off course and it tried to re-route me back to the mapped route the ENTIRE time, right up until I reached my destination. It wasn't smart enough to re-route as it went.

Now I drive around using my Google map app on my iphone, in a holder directly above my nice, big screen which lamely displays the radio channel and that is all.

Very frustrating.

Will be interesting to see what GM does for customers as the app was promoted as a "feature". Probably why they are giving upgrading the software on the mylink for customers who demand it. good on them to do that.
