Hello! I need help.
2017 Trax 1.4, 83,000kms

has a rough idle and occasionally throws a CEL, sometimes accompanied by a “Service ESC” message, and the traction control warning light on dash.
I connected reader and got the classic P0170 code for too lean so checked for leaks, checked air filter, checked MAF. All good. Found airbox intake not connected properly so reconnected and cleared codes. Not fixed, still throwing codes and idling rough, yesterday I was quick enough to connect scanner at the lights and got a P0300 misfire code when it was struggling at idle.
Help? I’m thinking ignition coil or spark plugs or both. Just don’t understand the ESC stuff lol

Pulled ignition rail last night, pulled each boot off no issues, visually looks perfect. Also unplugged EVAP purge valve and charged battery (was 12.5v) before starting car again. No CEL.
Unsure if it was sticky purge valve or battery. Will see if symptoms come back over next few days.

Did you find anything wrong with the coil pack?
My trax won’t latch the misfire code, nor point to a specific cylinder.
It’s been going ok last two days with the EVAP purge valve unplugged so am thinking that was to blame (stuck open)
