Hello everyone. I recently attended the Canadian International Auto Show and took a look at the Trax while I was there. I took a few pictures and thought that I would post them up here for you guys. I've also included some comments on the Trax to go along with the pictures. Enjoy!

In this picture I am wondering why the fog light has been replaced by black plastic. I am not sure if that is because this is a show model, or if it is of a certain trim level, or what. It doesn't look good though so I hope the fog lights are what the real deal is.

Looking at the interior, I think that it looks a bit on the cheaper side. Especially the centre stack and shifter.

The cargo space in the back isn't terrible but its also not great. It is an acceptable amount of space for a car of this size. You can go grocery shopping, but I wouldn't expect to be a huge help if you are helping out a friend who is moving.

can't wait for tail lights like these to make their way to the trax, on that orange, it will look amazing

Those would indeed be nice, not much of an upgrade but it's an upgrade.
I actually hope they do a good number of things on a refreshed trax, for their own sake and ours.

^ that is a much better example, but of course it's from Porsche.
Looking at those tail lights in person... they're just amazing, seen some Macan's in person!

But the ones on the Trax are still really good looking. You have to keep in mind that it is a Chevy. With that in mind I think that it looks really good. I mean it might not be better than Porsche, but given that you can even dare to compare a Chevy and a Trax, I'd say Chevy is doing a good job.

That they are.
I just wish there was an even more defined 3D effect going on

That seems like a minor enough design change that it could happen in a facelift or next model year if Chevy decides it wants to do that. I don't think it would increase the price of the vehicle or anything like that.

Way too soon to change things around IMO
this is already a great step up for this model when it comes to cosmetics

Actually a facelift should be in the cards for the next model year or two at least. TRAX went on sale in 2013 globally and the Mokka went out in 2012. The design is getting a bit long in the tooth, but I don't know if they update so soon after US launch...

The Trax trunk doesn't look very spacious. From your point of view could you fit a week about of groceries without stacking? I guessing the seat can fold down as well, but its good to have a large trunk space even when the back seats are occupied.

youll have ti stack, back seat probably necessary, not a large issue IMO, most people arent grocery shopping with a full car regardless..
