Chevy TRAX US Financing Options...

Without an official price yet it will be difficult to discern accurately just what will be the options, but for now lets speculate wildly ;)

To give an idea I pulled data from the Canadian site as well as exploring options and offers on Equinox.

From Chevrolet.ca

Based on a mildly optioned TRAX ($20,295) Chevrolet Canada is offering 1.99% over 72 which would come to $129 bi-weekly.

From Chevrolet USA

Equinox is being offered at 2.9% APR over 60 months. Monthly payment is $17.92 for every $1000 financed.

I think thats a fair place to begin, but do consider that the 2015 Sonic is being offered for 3.9% over 60, considering Sonic and TRAX are nearly identical...

More info should be available to us shortly.

we can pretty much guess the price from looking at the canadian price

We can guess the price, but no so much the financing...I wonder how well the Trax will lease? Will Chevy offer any lease specials or lease deals right off the bat for the Trax? To calculate a lease payment we need to know GM's projected residual percentage...
yea financing varies depending on city and even your credit

so its hard

The credit is a good point, too. I am a young recent college grad, so I don't have much credit. Not bad credit, just not a lot of credit to speak of, so I'm betting the interest rate I will qualify for won't be very good. I will probably have to cosign on the loan with one of my parents because they have established credit.

How do the automakers expect young people to buy new cars again?

At least with a vehicle like this you can build up your credit rating quite nicely.

Probably at like 10% interest though :crying:

Oh well, I really want my Trax...
Again going back to Chevrolet.ca they quote a base TRAX ($18,695) at $99 bi weekly at 0.9% over 60 mos.

Chevrolet.com does not offer APR rates for Equinox leases, only quotes $205/month over 39 months based on $25,315 MSRP. They don't list regional or national leases for the Sonic however.

It also depends on how much down you can bring to the table, if you have secured income and can prove it you should be able to work something out. Most dealers are willing to go outside of corporate for leasing, this is really a conversation to have with your sales person when the time comes...

Yeah it sucks but it's what you need to do to get it, unless you want to come up with all the cash on the spot and walk in with suitcases full of money to the dealership :D
