Chevy just killed whatever chance the TRAX had of success in the US. Average incentives offered on GM transactions for 2014 are $3,660. So, you can get yourslef into a Equinox for equal or similar money...

This is Amercia, bigger is better right?

Not to me. The size of the Trax is perfect. I don't need an Equinox.
Equinox's are massive to, overkill for many that originally wanted a trax

Good comparison of size for a more accurate look. Thought there was more of a difference between the two.

Never would have thought that the equinox was shorter, might be time to look up some side by side comparison.

Yeah the Equinox is not massive.

i know it's current production cycle is coming to an end... do you think they will keep it's size within the current range it's at or go bigger for the next gen model?
I think they will keep it at its current size. Any change in size would be pretty minimal anyway. Are people complaining about Equinox size at all? This isn't something I've heard.
I haven't heard complaints, it seems to be doing well enough for what it is.

Equinox is not smaller by a single metric. I think the point being the two are not separated drastically by price, yet look at the size gains that can be had...
I think it's great that they have them priced like that, on the consumers end it works out great and i'm sure on their end it is as well.
