This is the prime rivalry for my dollars. The little renegade should be on sale here by years end. Certainly more capable than the renegade off road, but who really needs that these days ;)

do you like boxy, or boxy? ;)

x2!

I really like that new Renegade. I'm looking forward to driving both the Renegade and the Trax and seeing what I think.

My parents had a bad experience with the transmission on their Jeep Grand Cherokee, so I'm a bit wary of any Chrysler product.

My brother's Chevrolet Cobalt has been absolutely problem-free (despite the recalls you hear about!), so I have a bit more faith in Chevy and GM. Reliability is paramount on this vehicle for me. I have to get to work on time everyday, and I can't be worrying about reliability even if it's covered under warranty.

your parents gear box issues would of been because the GC used to use an in house built Chrysler gearbox. The Renegade uses a ZF sourced gearbox. ZF also supplies to Rolls Royce among others, so yea... ;)
