Hey guys. I've been driving my car for a while already, but just realized that when I idle in "P" shift (park shift) my engine temperature starts slowly growing from the standard middle position, and when I go back to "D" shift and drive it for a few meters it's becoming in normal again. Do you guys know what it is?

Don't have a temperature gauge in mine so can't tell but sounds normal. If you're not having air flow through the radiator it's going to heat up, then fan 1 will kick in.

I think you should make sure your fans are coming on just to make sure they are really working.

Cars temp. will drop when the car is moving, but if you get into a situation where you are stuck in traffic, you could seriously damage the engine without fans.

If you run the car in place with the hood up, watch the temp. and the fans, if they do turn on your fans and relay are working.

Modern cars run anywhere between 200 to 210, the thermostat may be a 195 but they also differ at the temps that they open.
