Wow the price is really getting up there! I love my traxie but don't think I'd pay $30k!
Holden has introduced a new range-topping Trax LTZ Turbo.
Designed to appeal to performance-oriented buyers, the model has a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 138 bhp (103 kW) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which will enable the compact crossover to consume 6.9 L/100km (34 mpg US / 40.9 mpg UK).
Since the Trax LTZ Turbo sits at the top of the range, it comes nicely equipped with rain sensing wipers, fog lights and 18-inch alloy wheels. The model also has heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and "Sportec" trim. Other highlights include a power sunroof, a rear view camera and a MyLink infotainment system with Bluetooth / USB/ iPod connectivity.
The Trax LTZ Turbo will go on sale later this month and pricing starts at $29,990 AUD.
"green" translates into a much higher priced product and for that reason i just can't see that happening with the trax. It's about time that they did this, but I think more importantly they need to work on something that is focused being more "green"
yeah, green as in hybrid, ev, etc. What do you mean specifically by green. Are we talking a hybrid or EV model? Something else?

I think the holden will be a copy of the Buick Encore, just like the Opel Mokka. The Holden badge looks good on the Trax. Keep in mind that all cars in Australia cost more though. Incomes are also generally higher there, so its all relative.
Looks like they are taking the Trax all over the world.

It does not look like GM is rebadging the Trax.
So far the trax is brought on 140 markets.
It's just a different design. I'm guessing that it's just conforming to the design language of either brand. I guess you just like the Chevy one better.at least we got the nicer grille
grillle on the holden version isn't near as nice.
Fair enough, to each their own.I like the both of them and don't think one is better than the other, just a different style.
