Hello fellow Trax owners.

Hello from the North, I am an owner of a 2014 LTZ Midnight Blue.

Hello from Lethbridge Alberta. I have a 2014 Trax and love it. Took it out in the snow today and was very happy with the AWD. I was thinking of snow tires but don't see the need yet with the tires being new. :)

Welcome to the forum, i'm noticing more and more canadian members on here all the time :D
I mean that makes sense right now since Canadians actually have the Trax right now as opposed to the Americans that have yet to receive it.

very true,
they have had it for some time now.
surprised there aren't more canadians here
We are a small but proud nation. And I think the forum is fairly new. I bet the Americans will join us once the Trax is released there. I am thinking it will be pretty popular there.
it comes out early 2015
i'll expect to see more americans after the LA Auto Show and NAIAS in April.
So I guess a lot of Americans may be buying the Trax with their Christmas money.
chances are that will be the case, at least their chirstmas money will cover the deposit, that will be a definite.

I suppose it matters how much your haul is. :D

I've always wanted to receive a car with a big bow on it for Christmas.
my christmas money is usually enough to cover a the deposit, and some accessories.... which has me thinking....that might be the for me to order :D

I hate the stock tires, useless in snow and ice.
hey, welcome aboard! :D
Thanks:cool:
Ha ha. Maybe our snow down south here is different, I have had no issues with the stock tires on either the ice or snow. ;)

The next part might be to question how one drives as i have seen people who with great winter tires still complain, meanwhile people i know with RWD coupes running all seasons are doing just fine...surprisingly ;)
I'm a pretty mellow driver, I found though on streets that were not plowed and some pretty icy intersections that I had no troubles at all with traction. But like I say, I'm a pretty mellow driver.

that's not too bad at all, good for a vehicle like this.
are you just keeping it in drive or do you also use lower gears for getting through snow?
I haven't used the lower gears at all yet. Haven't needed to yet.

good stuff
i found that it helps when the wheels just wouldn't hook while in Drive moving from a stand still
