I just bought my 2017 FWD Chevy Trax LT about two days ago. I LOVE it. This is actually my first new car that I have bought on my own and so far I really couldn't be happier. I was driving a '08 Volkswagen Rabbit beforehand. It was just time for a change and I was ready to get something with a little more room. As someone who has driven a small two door hatchback most of her life, this is an easy transition to this car. It feels small enough but there is plenty of room in the interior. The tech aspect is phenomenal. I still have some learning and getting used to, for sure.
I was able to strike a pretty great deal too. They had 4k off msrp and fantastic rebates and warranties. I also knew the salesman so that was helpful too. He made the whole process very easy and smooth.
So far so good. Couldn't be happier and glad to have found a forum like this!
Congratulations on getting your new car. I think your first impressions are spot on. I've had my Trax for a little over a year now, and have found it to be a fun and reliable rig that does a whole lot of things really well.
Hey there "greenthumb", nice to meet you! Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll find this place quite friendly and helpful at times as well. Hope you have a blast with your new Trax, this little SUV can be thrill to own!
Space is one thing I always heard a lot of good about. We have it really good since most car makers have been moving towards coupe-like styling which in turn compromises interior space for passenger and cargo. Just hope the next iteration Trax won't go coupe-style.
