I think I found the solution by researching about F & N filters fouling the Mass Airflow Sensor. I ordered
two Delco OEM filters and no CEL for three weeks. Mine is a 2017 OR FWD with 40 k miles. I didn't start getting the CEO til almost a year after installing the K&N. I loved this car, but the CEL was trying my patience.

The intermittent check engine light continued. Finally this week I got it into the dealers in Beavercreek (Dayton area), Ohio with the light on. My 2017 LT with 45,000 miles had the bad
purge valve at the intake manifold. It's the common problem with the 120,000 guarantee. They had me authorize $195.00 in case it was something not covered. They gave me a 2020 Premier as a loaner. I dropped it at 7:30 and got it back at 4:00 the same day. No charge. I hope I don't see that light again. It would have been better if they just made it a recall. It's a. $15.00 part abscess to get to.
