Hi all,

After a deer hit and totaled my 2007 Aveo in northwestern Wisconsin last weekend, I took my insurance check into the local Chevy dealership and drove out with a new 2015 Trax.

I'm loving it so far, and I'm interested to hear about what other Trax owners are experiencing.

Hi Foleymo. Welcome. I have been posting about some Turbo issues (had to be replaced and is acting up again) where we lose power and high rpm. There is no low windshield washer light so keep that topped off. Other than that we love it. We drove from northern Albera Canada to Nevada last year and it was excellent for the 10,000 Kms we drove for the round trip. Very comfortable and easy to park. We have the LTZ which has lots of features. I have also posted on the My Link and how that could be way better. I hope GM comes out with some upgrades for that system.

You mite have issues with the wipers shattering on the windshield. The stock wipers don't have great contact against the windshield.

I would suggest looking into that after some usage of the wipers, i think they require a break in timeframe till they start working how they should.

Are you getting the BOV freezing open?

That was the case with a set of Bosch wipers I bought a while ago.
Don't think it was stated on the package but breaking it was what it needed.

the only way to truly tell is with pro-longed use from new, after a reasonable amount if time if it keeps acting up.... go to the dealer. just need to have good judgement with this one.
