Metal Skid Plate Reccomendations, Please

My 2019 Trax LT FWD took a bad hit on the deadly cross-street gullies in town. I'm looking for something to protect the low hanging fruit. I personally saw a PT Cruizer opened up like a can of sardines. It was painfull to watch.
