First post. Site running really slow and making searches frustrating. Can anyone tell me what kind of range to expect from the factory installed remote start? I am planning on buying a Trax within the next couple of months and am holding out for a good incentive to come along!

Thank you in advance for any advice you can give. :)

If you run it through the OnStar App I think you can even do it from the runway

Do you mean slow as in low activity or slow as in load times? Because if you are referring to load times I think that it not the site itself.

Anyway, thanks for joining. Glad to have you here.

If you want to negotiate a deal, try to go into the dealership to buy at the end of the month.
welcome to the boards! in August is usually when the model year changes, once the MY16's hit lots, or are about to hit lots you'll see tons of cash piled on the hoods of 15's to blowout inventory. Good luck!
Slow load times is what I was referring to. Also, when I am typing out a post, I type along at my normal speed and look up to find that MANY of my letters are "missing" and I have to go back and fix everything. Or, I type out a whole sentence and see nothing for a few seconds. I do not have this problem on any other site. I might be better off just "lurking" on this site......

Anyway, thanks to all for the tips. As far as my original question about the remote start, I do not use phones with apps or OnStar. I was just wondering what the range would be when I simply push the buttons on the key fob. In the past, with many factory installed starters, you have to be almost on top of he car for them to work. After markets have given me much better results.
Hmmm, I don't experience the problems that you are having with the site. Might be your computer or internet connection or you could email the site admins to see if they can help you out.
