The guides over at autoguide.com compare the Nissan Juke and Chevrolet Trax

If you want to cut to the chase, keep scrolling. For an indepth understanding of both, see the full comparison here: http://www.autoguide.com/car-comparisons/2015-chevrolet-trax-vs-2015-nissan-juke

The Verdict:

In isolation, the Trax seemed to offer subcompact crossover buyers what they want, but compared to the competition, a larger back seat and usable trunk can’t counter its short comings.

Honestly though, both these vehicles have substantial flaws and it’s probably best to wait and compare the new crop of subcompact crossovers before making any purchasing decisions.

Funny how the good things about one are the bad things about the other. Except for interior quality, both suck at that apparently. I think a lot of people would prefer the pros of the Juke to the pros of the Trax though. Power and fuel economy, or cargo space and rear seat space? I know what I would choose. Though the design of the Juke may turn some people off and needs to be factored in.
The Trax and Juke are both decent compact SUV's and they will both have pros and cons to look into. I'd just rather get Trax because it's a chevy. You can't go wrong this a chevy! :)
I don't think all Chevys suck, but I also do not hold the brand in high esteem. Has Nissan had any major quality or safety incidents recently? Anything that would compare to Chevy's massive problems from last year.
How I see it, for the most part it comes down to what you need in a vehicle, and then your badge of preference.

Also noticed I said "the guides over at autoguide.com" meant to say guys*
Yeah, I'm not going to be bias, that is true. Nissan is a very solid brand. I guess it will come down variety of things. I'm still planning to take both of these cars and a few others is the same range for test drives before I make a decision on which to get.

Which other CUVs are on your list of vehicles that you'd like to take for a test drive?

Definitely the Jeep Renegade, Honda HR-V, Mazda CX-3, and I would like to take the Fiat 500X for a drive as well. Haven't driven a Fiat before so it would be a nice treat to try something new. What about yourself?

I agree with you on most of these choices, but I do not have any interest in the Fiat 500X. I hear that it is a really poor quality brand. I also might check out something by Subaru. I guess the Crosstrek.

You might even want to consider Mini, the Mini Countryman is a good option as well. Had the opportunity to drive one and loved it!
The transmission issues Mini's used to have were enough to keep me away from them.
Yeah. I would like to test drive a Fiat 500X before I write it off the list. As for the mini I don't have any interest in how it looks. Subaru is a potential option as well thought. Solid brand.

I haven't heard good things about the 500X. It wasn't really on my radar, and I just don't have a good opinion of Fiat generally. Just my opinion (well, and many others.)

Looks, that's one I have noticed to be common with folks, either they hate it or love it.
I don't know. I was thinking of getting a new 2015 Chevrolet Trax simply because I like Chevy cars, and have always driven Chevy cars. Plus the cars look interesting as well, something I'd like to be seen in. I think thanks to everyone here I can write off the list and see if I can test drive one myself to see for myself whether I like it or not.
The Juke uses premium fuel and feels smaller than the TRAX. I bought the TRAX. My other Chevy is from 2001 and still going strong. It has some rust but starts and drives everyday. I am happy to give GM another chance.
