Hello.

Something that I experienced and I want to know if I did right! I mean, a couple of weeks ago, I replaced the thermostat to solve a problem due an error code message I had and exlained in this post I opened:
https://www.traxforum.com/forum/538-warranty-service-issues/7327-code-89-solved.HTML

However, after the change... after 30 minutes of car use, the OBDII icon turned on!

Doing some research over the net and reading some pages in the Work Shop manual I own, could be that the car system detected some changes, what you all think?

For just in case, I purshased and ran the Bluetooth OBDII interface scanner showing the following the below errors:

Fault codes details.
http://www.dtcsearch.com/P0030/?from=Torque
http://www.dtcsearch.com/P0132/?from=Torque
http://www.dtcsearch.com/P0134/?from=Torque
http://www.dtcsearch.com/P0135/?from=Torque

I cleared all these errors and now in the Dashboard meter is not showing anymore the OBDII icon. My concern is if the thermostat replacement has direct relation with the OBDII error codes?

Any thoughs?

Those codes are all HO² related. Unless you may have spilled coolant while replacing the thermostat and some of the coolant got into the first HO² connector I can't see how this would be related. If the codes haven't come back chance are it dried out and your good.

Thanks.

Ok, here's my updates...

Erased the codes, however in the next engine start, the codes apeared again :(

Regarding you comments, yes the coolant was spilled while replacing the thermostat, so what actions you suggest to be taken, taking into account that 2 weeks was passed, since the thermostat change was done? Do you think so far the connector still wet?

Thanks.

No, I think you may have shorted something out and blown a fuse when you did the thermostat change. Check for a fuse called EXH, it supplies voltage to the HO²s and a few other sensors. This fuse should be under the hood.

I replaced the 2 sensors and thermostat new oem the thermostat should open electronically according to the engine temperature and it does not I saw many videos on YouTube that said aftermarket sensor will cause the problem so I purchased all oem 2 sensors and thermostat and it still not working I contacted a maxicom computer and it’s reading thermostat zero
