In control
Driver control is the key to collision prevention. Trax is equipped with a series of advanced technologies that keep you confidently in control. They include the standard StabiliTrak® electronic stability control system, four-wheel ABS with Panic Brake Assist and Hill Start Assist, plus traction control. Also increasing driver awareness is the rear vision camera system that’s standard on 2LT and LTZ models. It uses a touch-screen display to help you see stationary objects behind your Trax when travelling in reverse at low speeds.

AWD – For all four seasons
Trax offers an available on-demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system that gives you added grip through all four seasons. Even better – the system automatically shifts into Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) at speeds above 5 km/h, when no wheel slip is detected, to maximize fuel efficiency.

Well protected
If a collision can’t be prevented, you can count on a high-strength steel safety cage, plus six standard and up to 10 available airbags9 to protect the passenger compartment.

Ready to respond
After a collision, you can call on the support of the OnStar® system with the Directions & Connections Plan that’s standard for six months. It includes Automatic Crash Response that can automatically contact an OnStar Advisor when a collision occurs to help direct emergency service providers to your exact GPS location – even if you’re unable to respond. Every angle is covered – with Trax.
