Has anyone changed their plugs yet? Did you go with iridium or just oem? How do i remove the plastic cover on top? Thanks!

spark plug replacement intervals are every 60,000 km according to the owners manual, i'm not sure why anyone would want to change plugs before then, just for the sake of replacing spark plugs...

the stock spark plugs are iridium, AC Delco 41-121
Yeah I know they don't call for changing them till 60,000 km but I don't know if that's too long or not. They also call for oil changes every 12000 km and the dealership and everone says that's too long for semi synthetic oil. I plan on in the near future putting in iridium plugs I think.

What year is it?
Actually iridium plugs should last 160,000km according to ACDelco. That was the interval change in my Cobalts. I have 110,000kms on my Trax now. A couple of weeks ago I put my scanner on it to check misfire counts and all 4 cylinders had zero misfires in a 5 minute test. Why replace something that isn't broken? The 41-121 is a dual iridium plug with very minimal gap degradation over time and normal conditions. This plug is pre-gaped

As far as oil goes 12,000kms on full synthetic is fine provide you change the filter half way.
