Hi,
Hello from Philippines.

I am planning to replace my sparkplugs. Do you have advise if it's ok to use other brands other than the OEM? NGK maybe? It's hard to look for GM accessories here, have to go to different places. But due to Covid scenarios, hard to travel die to restrictions. I will be resorting to online shops.
I saw a GM sparkplugs but not iridium.

Do I need iridium, ok other brands?

I use NGK. I believe NGK makes the AC Delco factory plugs. I use the expensive Laser Iridium 1FR7X7G but thats just me.

I found here in an NGK IX Iridium in an online shop. Do you have comment on this?

If you look on the NGK web page the two recommended plugs for the Trax are 1FR7X7G and FR7BHX-S.
The 1st one is a Laser Iridium and the 2nd one is a Ruthenium HX high ignitibility.
You can't go wrong with
ACDelco Iridium Spark Plug 41-121
