I have a 2017 with 55 thousand miles. I'll be getting 75,000 mile Altimax R43 tires. What sould I do about the sensors? Replacement prices I've seen are the $200 range. You can have a renewal kit put in for a lot less, but it does nothing for the irreplaceable batteries. I wonder if anybody has had a sensor go bad. They are said to be good for "up to" ten years.

Average lifespan is 7 years. I just get cheap ebay ones. They last about 5-6 years so when I change tires I change sensors with new ones. I have 2 sets on my desk now, I bought one set for my neighbor.
