I was wondering if anyone has experienced a slip in third gear in the six speed auto?
My trax is a 2014 model. Had all diagnostics etc. Changed transmission fluid. No problem found.

I recently did a custom tune on my girlfriend's 2020 trax.

I noticed the lazy transmission, this is the main reason why I decided to tune it.

Upped the boost to 21psi max and it's a whole lot more fun to drive now.

By slip do you mean a hesitation to shift into gear?

You could start by doing a trans adapt reset. But your best bet would be to tune it. Removing the battery for 30 minutes should be a good starting point.

We tried a computer reset to factory settings which didn't work.
It's only slipping from 2nd to 3rd and it seems like a hesitation.

Might be a bad shift solenoid, any codes yet?

I think its just the factory tune. Most likely .. i noticed a nasty hesitant shift on 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 before i started tuning it. Its a 2020 with 8k miles.
