Hello everyone I’m Brandon, I’m new to the forum! I have a 2019 Trax 1.4 with 62,000 miles. I recently had “3” o2 sensor codes pop up, 1st being a p0030 bank 1 upstream and I also had a 4th code p0234 turbo overboost.. My question is could the p0234 be related to the bad o2 sensor? If not does anyone have any ideas on the overboost code? It still runs and drives good!

I’ve tried moving the flap on the wastegate and it seems really stiff going into the manifold. I have sprayed pb blaster and letting it soak overnight. Is it a good idea to try prying the end of rod where the flap goes into the header by the o2 sensor?

Disconnect the actuator and check to movement. Cycle it a few hundred times slamming it against the port to crush and remove any carbon or until it sounds metal to metal. You could try high temperature graphite lubricant, it may last several months.
