Under seat compartment

I purchased a 2015 ls and saw a video online that the lt has a storage compartment under the front passenger seat. Does anyone know if the seats are the same on the ls so I can just purchase the compartment and put it in myself? Thank you for your help

Must be an dealer add on it's not on my LT.

That is a valuable fact to bring up. Might be worth it for OP to look into this with the dealer he/she got the Trax from.
its not a dealer add on, it comes with the car, both my 13 and 15 have it. it may not be available on the LS models though but I think I saw it on all versions
Sure seems like something they should make available on all trims, might give them an edge up.
After seeing this post I looked on my LT it doesn't have any compartment, I looked under both seats nothing there.

I just did a search on the net about the compartment it shows it in the rear not under the front seats.

I will have to have another look when I get home.
Were they under the rear seats when you checked?

Thanks that is my summer daily driver, it does have high miles 130+, I also have a new 15 that only sees daylight once and awhile.

I'm a Chevy guy
I think it is part of the Convenience package on LT models.
I did find it when I was cleaning one day, it does have a pull out under the front passengers side seat.
I would expect the LTZ being a step up from our LTs would surely have it ? Now I need to look more closely at the rear seats beeguz.
There is noting under the rear seats I know because I took mine out.

I took out the bottom cushion its only 2 bolts that way I could lay the cargo floor flat then if you remove the head rest on the rear seat when the seats are folded down the front seat has more rearward travel.

My LT had it, I would bet if you just bought the tray it would work.

I would get down under the front seat and look for the rails the tray runs in if you see them then all you need to order is the tray at a Chevrolet Parts Counter at the dealer.
If you know someone that does body or mechanical work, if they buy GM parts you can get a discount using their account.
Would be awesome if they made all the seats into storage compartments. I bet somewhere that might be on the drawing board or at least someone somewhere thinking about it.
