Best way to describe it, it’s like the screen is locked. I’ve read the issues where people eventually lose functionality of the screen – first it “gets stuck”, then suddenly the backup camera stops working, then the screen just goes blank. The solution: pull the fuse. Those are NOT the issues I’m having though. I left work one night and it was working normally. I – like I always do – used the source button to play music from my phone through the speakers. That was it for touching the screen. By the time I got home (about 40 minutes later), I went to switch the source back to FM for the morning … and nothing. I touched all over the screen, nothing. It’s been about three weeks now and still nothing. It still plays the last FM station I had on prior to all this and it still shows the song title and artist when it changes, and my backup camera still displays fine. But touching the screen … nada. Even though I suspected it wouldn't make a difference, I pulled the fuse anyway; and since you're reading this, you should have deduced my suspicion was correct and pulling the fuse did nothing.

If it's possible to lock the screen, how? And how do you unlock it? I feel like I'm grasping at straws by asking that, because I'm 99% sure, at this point, I'm going to need a whole new unit. But before I even ask how much that's going to cost (ugh!), I thought I'd check here first, and see if anyone has any other thoughts. ???

Has it been in for the bulletin reflash? I believe it's covered.

No, but I'm due for an oil change next month, so I'll talk to them then about it. Thx.
