Does anyone else have trouble with their VIN # being recognized? When I go to legitimate sources, such as safecar.gov or nhtsa.gov, and enter my VIN# it says it cannot be processed. Many other sites return similar responses, yet Chevy's website & some others like O'Reilly auto parts recognize it.
Two reasons I was looking into this in the first place: 1) recall status, which I was able to determine from Chevy's site, and 2) trying to determine whether I have mfg body code JR76 or JU76.

Really weird that these regulatory websites don't recognize my VIN.

Isn't the body code on the RPO list. What year?

I was able to find the body code listed on the glove box Service Parts ID tag, it's a 2015 JU76.
I'm guessing nobody else has issues with the regulatory agencies recognizing their VIN #s?
