I changed the spark plugs myself. Didn't torque the #1 plug enough. it came loose and fried the solenoid. of course all 4 solenoids are packaged as 1 unit. $322 later...
I am having this issue with my 19. Every time it snows and the wheels spin it disables awd . I can't get anyone to see a fix. Have you?Hello Team. My 2017 Trax is having an issue with the AWD. Driving in snow and ice for longer periods causes the AWD to disable itself. A message comes up saying AWD is disabled. The manual states it is caused by excessive wheel spin and the system needs to cool down. It's rather inconvenient. Has anyone else experienced this?

All in all my Trax has been good to me but lots of stupid issues that should not have happened this early. 2014 Trax LT with 53,000km or 32,000 miles. I have had to replace both front control arms - extended warranty, oil pan gasket - under warranty, oil cooler seals - extended warranty, both rear shocks were leaking so I replace them. My front right strut needs replacing now. PIA vehicles lol.
My 2017 Chevy Trax ls is having the same problem with the All wheel drive off message on my display I’m gonna try resetting it tomorrow an see if it works before I take it to the dealership it has 24,000 miles on it ! My Trax engine like keeps coming on. I have it serviced by my mechanic that I have know for over 30 years. I can drive about 10 miles and the light comes back on. I cannot pass the emissions test because of this stupid light. Has anyone else have this problem? Is there a short?Post about any issues/problems you have experience with your chevy trax in this thread.

Hello, I just purchased a 2014 Chevrolet trax just passed safety last week. But in the last 2 days I noticed when I stop at a light the car seems to be stalling? What could be the problem? There is no engine lights on.
I have 3 kids that sit perfectly fine in back seat. About 5'3" is the tallest. No issues. I sit in front at 6' and have no problems.Wipers that squeal are usually dried out, they get hard from sitting in the sun.
What a dealer will do is clean the windshield then use Rainx on it, then if the wipers still make noise they replace the blades.
I took a truck I had one day back to the dealer with the same problem, after wasting an hour of my time trying to make them work right, they replaced the blades like I requested.
These new windshields feel rough to the touch they are not smooth like normal glass, after a little use of the blades you can feel the difference, its smoothing the glass as they wipe.
From personal experience when in snow turn traction control off or you will get stuck. Is that going to be a problem with winter driving or anything? I'd say the Trax is doing pretty well if this is the only problem we can figure out.
Yes, My 2016 trax pulls to the right. When I took it back to the dealer they said it is normal, but my mechanic says the problem stems from the front wheel drive torque.
