Start/Stop Recall

Hey gang,
I took our '24 TRAX ACTIV in for the start/stop recall today and when I called to make an appointment yesterday I was told it only takes an hour for the 'update'. When I arrived at the dealer I was told it's an 'all-day' process.......! Not sure if it was because the service area was very busy or if the update actually did take all day (5 1/2 hrs). ANYWAY...... on my way back from the dealer, after picking up my TRAX, I received an 'alert' in my Chevy App that there is an 'Emissions' recall now! Did anyone else get an alert? Could this be the same as the start/stop issue and the system just needs to be updated?
I haven't heard of any new "emissions" recall lately other than the Stop/Start Ignition timing recall. I don't use any apps, but I haven't gotten any e-mails or seen anything on GM Authority.
