2024 Chevy Trax Active
September 26, 2023

October 12
400 miles - CEL/Engine Power is Reduced
Dissappears and dealership couldnt retrieve the code

October 16
600 miles - 1/2 throttle CEL/Engine Power is Reduced/LIMP IT TO NEW DEALERSHIP
Dealership retrieves
P0203 Injector control circut
P0300 Misfire

Findings - P/N for injectors 55515687 (mentioned this is a new p/n indicating injector issues)

Questions - Why would a HARD code like P0203 dissappear/not be stored?

Ill say it. Anything under a 3.0L is nothing but problems. Its been that way for 10 years. Here we go again. They are over engineered to a point they have no reliability. Dealers do not get paid well for factory defects. If its not profitable to do the work. They will not fix it. It sounds like your spark plugs are grounding out or not.. take the spark plugs out. Put them back in to the correct tightness.

I am so glad I joined this forum before I bought this car. There are so many problems going on with Chevrolet products it is ridiculous and they know it and let them go out to market anyway. Instead of finding the issues and fixing them, they just let them go out to production anyway. Honda or Toyota would never ever do such a thing. I thought Mary Barra was a great CEO at one time, but not anymore. She was just talking about how GM quality control is going up.WHAT A JOKE!! The Trax RS2 looks great, sporty, the price is great, was runner up for car of the year. I was ready to get one for my wife and was waiting until spring when the weather was better and decided to join the forum. THANK GOD I waited. I will wait a little longer now and get another RAV4. What a shame that GM's quality control is so bad. The car itself looks as good as my RAV4 XSE for thousands less. (IF ONLY IT WAS RELIABLE!) You had a winner, and you blew it. Everybody bought it, but no one will be coming back.

Hey all I have sued GM 4 times lemon law for this garbage and I'm now on my 3rd Trax because the 2 other Trax I had totally garbage! Anyway I don't know why or how but I got a 2RS with automatic lift gate on my 3rd Trax. Now if you look in YouTube and search 2024 Trax you will see a video with the Trax Crossover and it has a bunch more features I have all them as well. Mine is mosaic Black and everything is blacked out I even got cup holders in the back in the middle of the seat. Also I have a turbo decal on both sides backed out. It's alot different then the Trax I had 2 months ago like is said it's a 2024 Trax Turbo 2RS. That's what it says iny sticker anyway. That automatic lift gate is awesome I don't know how or why I got it iny Trax but it's the 3rd one I have had to get because GM sucks. I'm happy for now we will see!

No trailblazer I dislike that vehicle but go on YouTube and look up the 2024 Trax you will see the vehicle I got but mine isn't that green color mine is mosaic Black. By the way anyone can add the power liftgate to there Trax don't listen to whatever the dealership says because the dealership I go to has them in stock and ready to be installed. Just saying if you want it go and get it!

3rd Trax, Darth Vader Edition. What do you put in those back seat cupholders, those mini floating yellow rubber ducks that are super popular on car dashboards? Also what is your opinion on the plural of "Trax"? You seem super qualified to answer this question - pundit level.
Does anyone ever ride in your back Trax seats? Ours is mainly for folding-down and transporting stuff. (Spouse likes to shop and sometimes buys pieces of other people's houses or weird art. Like huge pieces of wood. Or someone's old kitchen window. Or a full-size wooden Grinch with flashing lightbulb nose that frightens me every time I see it. The Grinch's dog was sold-out as was the little Cindy-lu-hoo girl who wanted a glass of water.)

i doubt a 7 foot anything will fit inside the new 2024 Trax ACTIVIA. Nor 6 foot. A super-sized person would need to test that, but I am in the Lollipop Guild. If convenient I will try to measure TRAX to see what size rectangle could fit in back with all seats but drivers folded flattest/forward, and will post again with result.

The vehicle ride height is awesome and exactly what some drivers like. 2024 TRAX looks like it wants to go fjording across anything vaguely fjord-like.

Dealership has not returned it yet - they are going to do an additional fjord test today then clean it and return it. I am going to treat it as an all new vehicle delivery of a 2024 TRAX V-Series Blackwing.

Rental was not requested due to the mo-fun driving either of the 2 fjord-incapable Chevy SS vehicles, each with Conti DWS-06 shoes.

GM field service engineer was sent to inspect our Trax ACTIV and contributed my issues with a dealer installed 'LoJack' harness causes intermittent issues with no traceability.

We have been drug thru the mud for months. Every conversation with GM has been vauge as crap with NO TRACEABILITY. Goodwill offer was a joke. GM said this is where they close their side of the case!

Anyone have any guidance?

What a load of thread burying đź’©.

Thought this forum might be interested in LoJack, Dealer installed, basically voiding Chevy from taking any responsibility(in my case).

I did my part to warn, instead Chevy drags their feet discussing buyback (while they build their case to deny). All I asked Chevy for, to pay for the 100k warranty I originally purchased. 2024 Chevrolet Trax STRAIGHT LEMON
