2025 backup camera fisheye view

I bought a 2025 1RS about a month ago and twice now have experienced the dreaded fisheye view on the backup camera. There are also no grid lines in the view. Apparently Chevy came out with a software update last year to fix the problem with the 2024's. Can anyone tell me if that corrected the problem? I have noticed while researching this that the backup camera issue appears to be a Chevy problem as I have found Volt and Silverado owners reporting the issue as well.

Since day one I have had issues with the infotainment screen randomly switching between radio and android auto. Has anyone else experienced this?

They wouldn't put out a fix for a problem if the fix wouldn't work. :p

If the update didn't correct your problem, then they would figure out whatever would be causing the issue i.e., camera, module, etc. You can also make sure to check to see if your battery cables are nice and tight and also press down on all your fuses in both locations to make sure they are firmly seated. Loose connections/cables are known to cause issues and glitches. As for infotainment, do make sure your phone and all your applicable apps are up to date, turn off VPN if you have one on your phone and also check this post for further tips and tricks that may help you.

By all means, if anything persists, take it in to the dealership under warranty.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry I wasn't more specific. I had a problem as soon as I left the lot where I couldn't make a call from the push to talk button. I went in for service and they did the latest software update; the other problems arose after they did that. Apparently, the update didn't take care of the problems I am experiencing on my 2025. It looks like the software update to fix the infotainment issues was for 2024 models. I found this on another forum for the issues it was supposed to address. I guess what I'm trying to determine is if GM did in actuality correct the 2024 problems which would give me hope that they eventually fix the 2025 issues. Everything that has happened in my Trax is intermittent. I will be lucky if it happens when I take it in for service.
