1. TPM registered low tire pressure. Dealership tech found a nail in the tire. Tech also noticed weather related cracking on the same tire. Mileage was 71,000 and change. Probably the original tires. Tread depth was 9/32 on 2 tires and 8 on the other 2. Replaced all 4 tires.
2. Bad hose from PCV valve to air intake. Haven't replaced yet. Was informed the replacement would take under 1 hour
3. I replaced the battery last November. Low voltage codes were still present when the tech checked the diag for the bad idle (PCV hose)

I complained about this same thing from the first week of owning it when I bought it brand new, literally off the car carrier and had waited for it to come in for 6 weeks! It was the beginning of many problems! Most revolve around temperature. The vehicle runs HOT! 2 years into owning it, not even at 65000 miles, and the radiator had to be replaced. I have ALWAYS only taken it to the dealer I purchased it from. After arguing about it for well over an hour, they agreed to pay for it. Now, having owned it 3 years and 2 months the water pump has died!!!! I have just now 75000 miles. I'm ready to go in and fight them again!
Worst made vehicle!
Hi, my trax is a 2020 and at around 12,000 miles my CV axil went out (sorry if I didn’t say that right), now I’m just at 30,000 miles and my car started leaking coolant and turns out it’s my water pump that broke. My question is….aren’t these 2 problems kinda major as far as the mileage on the car when they happened?? Do y’all think my trax may be a lemon?? I really have no idea how they come to the conclusion that a car is a lemon. Any info on these things will be greatly appreciated.

That has to be a record if they were the original tires.
New tires usually have about 10/32" tread depth.

Lets see, we have a 2019 Chevy Trax, bought it new before all the Covid stuff started..

1st right off, was a recall on a sensor under the hood, and a tie rod end......now mind you this was/is a daily driver, ac runs all the time in summer months, and heater n cold months, the both get a work out......

Next thing went on it was wheel bearings in the front, mine they knocked the bearing out and that was all they was too it, next the water pump, then few months later had to replace the radiator, and now 2023, blower motor and resistor, been replaced......don't no if it is like this on all the other Trax, but seems like a fault in the cooling system to me....break downs not cheap, but this little car gets 33 mpg here running in town/interstate travel...

Would I buy another one, probably would.....we have about 132000 miles on it now, and runs everyday.......otherwise all been good......

Uneven idle. No codes. Tapping on the passangers side engine inside the engine at idle. The tapping will slowly get louder over time at idle just sitting. The tapping increases with engine speed.. i have a 2019. Its been doing that sense it it 10k miles. Everytime i go to the dealer they say oh i drives fine. After the engine is warmed up to temp the tapping stops. I was told they will not give me a new engine or fix the issue because there is no code.. they need a code to do engine maintance..

I've bought 1 set of tires. These are a newer version of what was replaced. both have a 70,000 mile tread. no info available for my VIN for tire replacement prior to my purchase. I was informed this tire was an OEM tire. I put 15k miles on the tires before I replaced them. Even if the tires were replaced and documents can't be found, then 1 tire still had weather wear and the other 3 didn't.

The dealership found no history of new tire installation based on a search of my VIN. I do think there is a possibility of a prior owner having the tires changed and no one attached that info to this VIN.

90K miles. Wife's. Smoke and engine light now. Oil leaking from several places. Dealer says the engine and turbo gone. Haven't talked to the tech who looked at it yet. it smokes and idle is rough, obviously. It was driven about 5 miles after her engine light came on, no smoke as I had her pull over and met her, then checked oil (fine) and followed her home. Checked the engine next morning and smoking badly and leaking oil from several places due to crankcase pressure.

Question:

Do I have dealer fix purge valve or PCV system and go from there? I can imagine sensor errors lit up like a christmas tree with oil fouling, when they checked codes. I don't know exact codes yet, but a tech who looked at the other techs notes said he had 4 hits.

I can't believe catastrophic engine damage as engine runs good above idle, but what do I know?

What would you guys do at this point?

No protection from Vandalism, any idiot can put in your tank liquid and you will have many issues. For me it is strange that GM think only that someone can take a gas from the tank, but not think that someone can put something else in it..in this very case alarm is not working also, even if it is installed, so not good atall. No normal dealership in EU and in Ukraine..(software is not working and not applicable to EU) I like chevy, but they do not develop EU and UA markets.. In my country people think that chevy is the cheapest brand cars.. very sad. As for problems for 2 years of usage o my trax 2018 lt red li e addition, purge valve is making me crazy.
