Post about any issues/problems you have experience with your chevy trax in this thread.
Hi, my trax is a 2020 and at around 12,000 miles my CV axil went out (sorry if I didn’t say that right), now I’m just at 30,000 miles and my car started leaking coolant and turns out it’s my water pump that broke. My question is….aren’t these 2 problems kinda major as far as the mileage on the car when they happened?? Do y’all think my trax may be a lemon?? I really have no idea how they come to the conclusion that a car is a lemon. Any info on these things will be greatly appreciated.I complained about this same thing from the first week of owning it when I bought it brand new, literally off the car carrier and had waited for it to come in for 6 weeks! It was the beginning of many problems! Most revolve around temperature. The vehicle runs HOT! 2 years into owning it, not even at 65000 miles, and the radiator had to be replaced. I have ALWAYS only taken it to the dealer I purchased it from. After arguing about it for well over an hour, they agreed to pay for it. Now, having owned it 3 years and 2 months the water pump has died!!!! I have just now 75000 miles. I'm ready to go in and fight them again!
Worst made vehicle!
That has to be a record if they were the original tires.Tech also noticed weather related cracking on the same tire. Mileage was 71,000 and change. Probably the original tires. Tread depth was 9/32 on 2 tires and 8 on the other 2. Replaced all 4 tires.
So my 2016 chevy trax revs itself for like 20 minutes after I start itPost about any issues/problems you have experience with your chevy trax in this thread.
I've bought 1 set of tires. These are a newer version of what was replaced. both have a 70,000 mile tread. no info available for my VIN for tire replacement prior to my purchase. I was informed this tire was an OEM tire. I put 15k miles on the tires before I replaced them. Even if the tires were replaced and documents can't be found, then 1 tire still had weather wear and the other 3 didn't.That has to be a record if they were the original tires.
New tires usually have about 10/32" tread depth.
The dealership found no history of new tire installation based on a search of my VIN. I do think there is a possibility of a prior owner having the tires changed and no one attached that info to this VIN.That has to be a record if they were the original tires.

My 2020 has 37k miles and code p069e(Fuel pump drive module) came upPost about any issues/problems you have experience with your chevy trax in this thread.

You Can't get parts to repair the Trax as per Auto Nation, Mesa, AZ. They are full of crap....still selling the cars though!!Post about any issues/problems you have experience with your chevy trax in this thread.
The dealership scratched my wife's 2024 Chev Trax while we were in finance, and they won't fix it. They say that they cannot get parts. It should be illegal to sell a car and not have parts. You Can't get parts to repair the Trax as per Auto Nation, Mesa, AZ. They are full of crap....still selling the cars though!!
