2015???? Yeah its time to replace all your grounding straps. Front and rear suspension, ,fuel filter, fuel pump, A/C gas replaced, A/C pump replaced, water pump, idler pully, belts, spark plugs, spark plug bar, battery, transmission service, CV boots replaced (10 years they start cracking). All your engine sensors.

My 2021 Trax is doing the same thing. I take the key out and turn everything off and the fan still runs. I've been disconnecting the negative battery terminal to make it stop. Can someone provide details (pics, videos, anything) to tell me what needs to be replaced? I took it to AutoZone and they pulled fuses under the hood but it kept running. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

My 2020 chevrolet trax just started doing this as well. I unplugged the relays on black box next to coolant resivoir.. it didn't turn odd. Ultimately I unplugged the negative terminal to battery and ot stopped it. . Im afraid of this being a bigger issue..

I live in Michigan currently and its usually 30 degrees , [ 80k miles, just did an oil change yesterday]

2017 Trax fan motor was running after turning car off. Threw code P111E. Changed coolant temperature sensor to clear code. Didn't clear code or stop the fan from running so I changed the relay in the fuse box. Fixed fan but still have code. Did a hard reset by unplugging the battery and now it threw 9 different codes. I took it to the dealership and they say the fan motor itself is cracked and confusing the computer. Going to replace this weekend hopefully this will resolve the issue.

I having the same issue with my 2021 did you come with something ? Like replacing the sensor or relay or fan it self ?

There is a little black box on top of the cooling fan, at edge of good. It has a couple relays inside it. We replaced one of them and so far I haven’t had a problem. Just had to replace my battery as well and I replaced my other relay inside my fuse panel. Let me know if you need a pic.
Hello can you tell me which ones you replaced or send a picture please.

I'm having the same issue as everyone else the fan will not turn off unless I take the negative off the battery I can't afford another $700 to fix this thing the last relay cost me 40 bucks plus $618 for the labor and somebody tell me where the relay is would be great

I also had the same problem. 2019 Trax. Only done it one time. I turned off the key. Fan motor stayed running. I started the car back up then turned the car back off. It fixed the problem. Nothing ever since. That was a year ago with now 87 thousand miles on it. Looking to trade this car off in the very near future due to reading all the problems Trax has. There junk in my opinion.

Did you ever get any help with your issue? I had the same problem with my 2020 trax and took a lot of digging and no help, but was able to figure it out. If you haven't please let me know cause it's only a $10 fix.

Idk if my reply goes to everyone in the thread as I'm new to this. If you're still having the issue I'd be glad to help as I had the exact same problem and was able to fix it myself
