Okay everybody I have a simple fix to this problem. Hold down you're fast forward button and home button on your Chevy Trax screen. Hold them down for 10 seconds and that will reboot your screen. It works every time. You're welcome in advanced.
This didn't work for me since the fast forward button is on the touch screen that is frozen. I had the battery replaced as well as having a mechanic replace the fuse - still didn't work. I have 1 radio station, luckily something I like, and I can't do anything else with the radio. Was told to the mechanic that I need to take it back to the dealership since these MyLink radios are auto specific.

I have had the same issue. The touch screen on my 2015 Chevy Trax doesn't work. I can hit the home button and the menu comes up on the screen, but that is it. The touch screen is dead. I have tried to reset by hitting fast forward and home at the same time, but since the touch screen isn't working, it only recognizes the home button and goes to the menu screen and that is it.

Same exact issue. What did you wind up doing? Thanks.

On eBay I found a guy that can fix them. It was just over 100. I can't remember exactly how much but it was much cheaper than replacing it. Also buying a used was ended up not being an option because the dealer charges over 300 to program it. So I sent mine to the guy that fixes them and you don't pay until it's fixed. I sent it out and had it back in about 4 days. It works perfectly. Very happy!!!
