Same exact issues, 2025 Trac LS, 1 month old with 2000 miles. Adding it here in case anyone is using this thread to show their dealer who says they've never heard of such a thing like ours just did. Issues include:
  • radio freezing,
  • radio staying on,
  • bad/crackly audio,
  • charging ports not working,
  • right side of steering wheel not working,
  • fisheye backup camera,
  • backup camera not turning off
  • unable to disconnect calls
  • unable to disconnect from Bluetooth (even turning off BT on ohone, car forces it to turn back on and reconnect)
  • and a few others
Waiting for call back from service department now. (8/10/2024)

My entire radio likes to lag behind. I brought it in 3 times and each time they said it needs an update. Well they also said no update is available and I’ll have to wait for one to be sent.

I’m also having an issue with my remote start not working correctly. It supposed to turn on the climate control to the settings last used in the car but during the summer I would start it but it would never cool my car down but instead heat it up. If anyone wants to contact a lemon law lawyer and file a class action I’ll join with my story.
I have the same issue with mine. It doesn't cool off with auto start and when the music is connected to the Bluetooth an interference come through with a loud roaring noise.

Hello, I'm having all those issues too! I got mine a few months back and have been at the dealership many times but all i get it 'We can't replicate the problems' and just system updates. Do you have any update on this? Do they fixed it?

Yep, been dealing with these issues since April. Bought our '24 Trax LS in mid March. Took it to dealership and they had no fix. Service mgr called 2 days later & said she will contact me when GM puts out a recall fix. And here we are, 5+ months later...only issue with the vehicle, but it's a big one!

Has anyone experienced issues with the new 2024 trax bluetooth. I was working , then one day I had issues with my phone not connecting. Deleted my device and now my chevy does not appear on any device I try to sync. I do not know if there is a reset or if anyone else has had this issue.
I've had annoying issues almost since taking possession in Nov '23. Had software update. Had dealer refer me to OnStar after claiming I'd need to subscribe to make wireless CarPlay work. OnStar walked me through a reboot. Now I have your issue. Every time I get in the car I have to go to bluetooth in my phone to connect and even that doesn't insure I can access music or use the phone. I was going to demand a new unit but I also see the other answer about the wiring black box. I may go back to the dealer armed with that info. I've also deleted but it did appear after awhile to sync, I can't recall how. I've also had to reconnect after upgrading to iPhone 16 and have reset this phone and the last and I'm current on iOS software (update on 10/6/24 just now had no effect).

To anyone reading this thread, I did speak to the service mgr who still had me make an appointment. The tech called GM. By coincidence, or because of the call, they had just released new instructions for an in house software update. This was on October 15, 2024. It's only day two but so far the wireless CarPlay is functioning as designed, for the first time since buying the car last November, and the more extreme connectivity issues with the bluetooth that started recently have been corrected. No new radio or wiring box required. Again this pertains to my 16promax, my wife's 15 premax, and my daughter's 14pro on a 2024 Trax Active from S Korea.

Yes. Not with deleting and restarting but with the Trax recognizing any of our phones at times. We can be talking and it will cut right out. Times when it will not recognize any phone. I use google maps when travelling and there are times when it will not display the maps.

Im having the same issue, mines is at the dealership now. Hopefully it's a simple fix.

This just happened to me - was fine when I got out of the car. Literally 5 min later, nada. Just said “connecting” but didn’t connect. I reset the infotainment settings and still nothing. Unpaired the phone and tried to re-pair but not there’s no Bluetooth signal from the infotainment system. My car is finding other Bluetooth objects but not my car that I’m sitting in. Sigh. I’ve owned this car less than a year. Already had it in for service for over two weeks 45 days after I picked it up. This does NOT make me happy!
